Linda Sandifer is an American writer born and raised in Idaho. An authentic western voice, she is the author of fourteen novels. Known for her compelling characterizations and the ability to touch the human spirit, her books have found fans among both women and men and have been translated into several languages. She is a member of Women Writing the West and Western Writers of America. 

Book awards include Idaho Writer of the Year, Affaire de Coeur's Reader's Choice Awards for Outstanding Hero and Best American Historical, Calico Trail's Recognition of Excellence, and Calico Trail's Reader's Choice Award for Best Paranormal. She was a recipient of Women Writing the West's Laura Award for her short story, "The Ranch." Her short story "Betrayal" was included in Western Writers of America Anthology, Westward, A Fictional History of the American West.

She and her husband still own the ranch her grandfather homesteaded over a century ago in Idaho's Blackfoot Mountains. It is also the setting for her new book, Lost and Broken Things.
